I am a two-time Emmy Award winning visual storyteller with a uniquely Pacific Northwest perspective. Growing up in Seattle I developed an appreciation for art, music, and the natural world from a very young age. For the past fifteen years I have worked in the television news industry as a professional photographer and videographer as well as a freelance digital media professional.
My life as a photographer began at a young age with my father as my mentor. He taught me how to use film and how to compose a picture. This skill developed into passion for the art form, which translated into my life’s dream of becoming a professional baseball player or a professional photographer – mission accomplished.
My years working as a news photographer have given me the unique skill of quickly understanding information and translating it to stories that resonate with a variety of different audience segments. As a journalist I seek the truth and a desire to get a quality product out quickly and accurately. My journalism career has led me across the country, to four Super Bowls, generated 5 Emmy Nominations and two Emmy Awards.
In addition to my work in the news industry I also own and operate Man On Red Moon Productions. My company has created marketing material for companies like, MOD Pizza, CenturyLink, and the American Heart Association.
Visual storytelling is my passion and I hope you enjoy my website and work. If you have a story idea or product that you would like to discuss, drop me a line to see how I can help.
